In co-operation with the fabulous Buddha Bar Restaurant in Prague, we would like to invite you to an Asian Fusion wine dinner with a selection of four premium and boutique New Zealand and Australian wines paired with a wonderful menu! This event is being organised in conjunction with the Czech Australian New Zealand Association.

An aperitif of Sake Litchi will be served with amuse bouche and the event will begin with a short wine presentation followed by a five course gourmet dinner.

The Ashes Christmas Dinner and Wine Degustation

To mark the start of the 2010-2011 Ashes test cricket series between England and Australia as well as celebrating the onset of the Christmas season, the British Chamber of Commerce and the Czech Australia New Zealand Association have joined forces with Club Vivanova to host a four course gourmet wine dinner at the CzecHouse Grill & Rotisserie in the Hilton Hotel Prague.

The menu, skillfully prepared by Chef Miroslav Hanzal, will feature modern twists on classic Christmas flavours, and will be accompanied by three Australian premium wines courtesy of Mitton International Wines, together with a presentation of the wines by English expatriate Australian wine importer Bradley Mitton.

Guests will have an opportunity to learn more about the game of cricket and the Ashes test series thanks to a presentation by the Czech Cricket Union.

The event will be topped off with a wine-based cocktail presentation by the Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge Head Bartender; we are then welcome to head upstairs to the Sky Bar to continue our festivities!

Meerea Park Winery
Meerea Park is owned by Rhys and Garth Eather and fruit for their hancrafted wines is grown on some of the Hunter Valley’s oldest and best vineyard sites. Alexander Munro, their great-great-grandfather was at one stage the largest and most successful winemaker in New South Wales and amassed over 2000 awards at wine shows around the world.
