Following the great success of our sold-out Mandarin Oriental Gala Dinner last Saturday (view photos here) and in celebration of the forthcoming festive season, we would like to invite you to an exciting night of world class Champagne and luxurious chocolate in conjunction with our partners Armand de Brignac and pure BLYSS.

BLYSS is a radically new indulgence company, breaking conventions and creating multisensory experiences through the secret of single bean virgin chocolate. Armand de Brignac is rated the number one Champagne brand in the world and retails at over EUR 300 per bottle so we are in for an excellent treat.

Our exclusive event will be held in the new private dining room of the SasaZu Restaurant and Bar in Prague. A wonderful Champagne aperitif will be served upon arrival to be followed by courses of delightful SasaCrispy Rolls and Empire Saigon Rolls and the Armand de Brignac Champagne and pure BLYSS chocolate degustation.

A New Zealand sparkling wine aperitif will be served in the Monastery Lounge at 19.30 and the event will begin with presentations at 20.00. The amazing Sliding Hill wines from Marlborough will be showcased during the event; each wine will be presented by New World wine professional Bradley Mitton.

The Ashes Christmas Dinner and Wine Degustation

To mark the start of the 2010-2011 Ashes test cricket series between England and Australia as well as celebrating the onset of the Christmas season, the British Chamber of Commerce and the Czech Australia New Zealand Association have joined forces with Club Vivanova to host a four course gourmet wine dinner at the CzecHouse Grill & Rotisserie in the Hilton Hotel Prague.

The menu, skillfully prepared by Chef Miroslav Hanzal, will feature modern twists on classic Christmas flavours, and will be accompanied by three Australian premium wines courtesy of Mitton International Wines, together with a presentation of the wines by English expatriate Australian wine importer Bradley Mitton.

Guests will have an opportunity to learn more about the game of cricket and the Ashes test series thanks to a presentation by the Czech Cricket Union.

The event will be topped off with a wine-based cocktail presentation by the Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge Head Bartender; we are then welcome to head upstairs to the Sky Bar to continue our festivities!
