We are organising two extravagant events later in 2010 with tickets for over 120 people at both venues for two great nights of Australian live entertainment, shows, wines and gourmet dinners.

Both events will be held in the respective hotels’ ballrooms and major sponsors are already confirmed as the Australian Embassy, the Western Australian Government Office in London and Singapore Airlines.

The Prague event is nearly sold out and for Berlin, tickets will cost EUR 75 per person (EUR 80 for non-members) or we are selling sponsored corporate tables for EUR 900 at each event (eight seats per table). Club members can book private tables for eight for EUR 600. You can book with us now if you would like to make sure you get a reservation.

Worldfly (www.worldfly.com.au) to be confirmed – Worldfly’s first single ‘someone special’ has already won them an Australian Songwriter of the Year award (ASA) and their debut album, ‘it’s too late for turning back’, was voted one of ABC DIG radio’s favourite albums for 2009.

There will be a live band and cultural Australian entertainment with a four course dinner and three complementing wines per course so including aperitif and dessert wines, we will be looking at about 18 different and diverse wines to taste from across Australia. I think this will be a black tie / dinner suit event as we are expecting the Consul General of Western Australia and the respective Australian Ambassadors to attend the events.

“Magnificent Seven Shiraz” Tasting and Dinner
Wineshome, Prague
Tuesday 25th May, 19.00

Join us in Prague at the recently opened Wineshome for a tasting of seven of our best Shiraz wines from Australia. The tasting will be presented by Australian wine specialist Bradley Mitton and complementing food will be prepared including grilled meats, vegetarian dishes and cheeses to perfectly fit the wines.

Wineshome (www.wineshome.cz) has recently opened and its modern design and contemporary architecture makes Prague’s largest wine cellar a perfect location for one our monthly events. As per usual with our successful presentations in Prague this event is being organised in conjunction with the Czech Australian New Zealand Association.

We have exclusively reserved the whole venue for this event and we are limited to 30 tickets, Wineshome will also be inviting 30 of their special VIP customers so we will have a total attendance of 60. An Australian Chardonnay aperitif will be served at 19.00 to kick-start the event!

Meerea Park Winery
Meerea Park is owned by Rhys and Garth Eather and fruit for their hancrafted wines is grown on some of the Hunter Valley’s oldest and best vineyard sites. Alexander Munro, their great-great-grandfather was at one stage the largest and most successful winemaker in New South Wales and amassed over 2000 awards at wine shows around the world.
